Service groups to be honored

The churches in the Whitehouse area invite the entire community to gather in the Whitehouse City Park on Saturday afternoon, Oct. 13, at 4 p.m. The purpose is to show appreciation to the volunteer firefighters, police officers and paramedics for serving and protecting the community day in and day out.

The event will include free food, activities for children, music, drama and testimonies.

The community will have the opportunity to make donations to the organizations that give of themselves to ensure others safety.
