ET actress, ex-Cowboys in TJC lecture series

Athens native Donna Bullock will kick off the TJC lecture series Oct. 10. The actress has worked extensively in film and televsion. Her TV credits include "Medium," "Smallville" and "Frasier," and she appeared in the film "Air Force One."
The Tyler Junior College Lecture Series begins in October, with appearances by an actress with East Texas roots and two ex-Cowboys.

Actress and TJC alumna Donna Bullock will return to her alma mater to speak 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 10; and former Dallas Cowboys Cliff Harris and Charlie Waters will speak 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 25.

Each of these events will be held in the Apache Rooms of Rogers Student Center on the TJC main campus. The TJC Lecture Series is free and open to the public, and tickets can be reserved by calling 903-510- 2259, or they can be picked up one week prior to the event, at the information desk located on the second floor of Rogers Student Center.

A native of Athens, Bullock has been making her living as an actress for 30 years.

During her years at TJC, Bullock was active in the choral and drama groups and was a member of Harmony & Understanding. Upon graduating from TJC in 1976, she transferred to Southern Methodist University.

She began her professional career in New York City, then spent 15 years in Los Angeles, working principally in film and television.

A veteran of the stage, Bullock has played leading roles on Broadway and shared the stage with Hume Cronyn, Jessica Tandy and Lauren Bacall.
