Juan "Johnny" Saenz

Services for Juan "Johnny" Saenz, 44, of Tyler were held Oct. 3 at Tyler Memorial Funeral Home with the Rev. Ruben Lopez officiating.

Burial was in Tyler Memorial Cemetery.

Mr. Saenz died Sept. 30, 2007 in Tyler. He was born Oct. 25, 1962 in Salem, Ore., and had lived in Tyler since 1968. He was a member of Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception.

Survivors include his son, Jordan Saenz, Cape Coral, Fla.; daughter, Bethany Saenz, serving in the Army in South Korea; parents, Joe and Lupe Saenz, Tyler; brothers, Joe Saenz, Whitehouse, and Jesse Saenz, Red Springs; sisters, Ana Schlensker, Plano, and Alma Hagan, Chandler; one granddaughter; nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Jason Hurst, Blake Hurst, Ross Pirtle, Tyler Cole, Keith Pierce and Brandon Bailey.

Honorary pallbearers were Mike Cockrell and Steve Jones. at the funeral home.
