Glynn Doyle McCoy
Memorial services for Glynn Doyle McCoy, 56, of Tyler were held Sept. 29 at Tyler Memorial Funeral Home chapel, with Rev. Wiley Bennett officiating. Services were under the direction of Tyler Memorial Funeral Home.

Mr. McCoy was born Dec. 15, 1950 to the late Doyle and Grace Mitchum McCoy in Whitehouse, and passed away Sept. 26, 2007 in Tyler. He was a very devoted husband, Dad and PaPa. He lived in the Tyler- Whitehouse area all of his life and worked in the oil field business.

Mr. McCoy was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Joe Dennis McCoy.

He is survived by his wife, Delilah Gay Ellison McCoy of Tyler; sons, Terry Laird of Big Sandy, and Gregory Matthews of Tyler; daughter, Kimberly Ellison of Tyler; brother, Albert Eugene Reece of Tampa, Fla.; sisters, Lanelle King of Tyler, Doylene Matthews of Ruidoso, N.M., Lynda Kennedy of Downs, Kay Davlin of Tyler, and Debra Smith of Union, S.C.; 12 grandchildren, William Jack, Jima Renee, Kylie Danielle, Delilah Marie, Simone Laird, Dianna Laird, Kevin Laird, Delilah Grace Laird, Christopher Laird, Cody Laird, Alisha Laird and Lavada Laird. He is also survived by eight nieces, nine nephews and several great nieces and nephews.
