Troup homecoming Friday; court members announced

Senior princesses are Kaci Braswell, Alysha Barton, Amanda Margraves and Allie Young.
Troup is celebrating homecoming this week. Activities include the pep rally at 2 p.m. Friday (in the football stadium), homecoming ceremonies at 7 p.m. Friday night prior to the game with Waskom and a masquerade dance Saturday from 8- 11 p.m. (for all current THS students).

Members of the senior court who will be presented Friday are the following senior princesses and princes.

Alysha Barton

Alysha is the daughter of Tony and Connie Barton.

Alysha is a member of The Father's House in Joinerville. Alysha enjoys going to church, being with friends, riding fourwheelers, and staying on the computer as much as she can.

At school Alysha plays basketball and softball and is a member of the National Honor Society. She plans to attend a fouryear college and major in business and then study youth and children's ministries.

Austin Braswell

Austin's parents are Bryan and Suzzette Braswell. At school, Austin plays baseball and is on the yearbook staff. Outside of school, Austin has played select baseball in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area for five years and is currently a member of Ft. Worth Drillers baseball team.

Senior princes are Austin Braswell, Chance Steele, Thacher Riddle and Cody Deese.
He is a member of the Joy Street Ministries in Troup. Austin plans to go to Texas State College.

Cody Deese

Cody is the son of Lynn and Renee Deese. Cody plays football and baseball. He attends Tyler Metro Church and was a youth counselor at Stone Fort Camp.

He enjoys hunting, fishing, snowboarding and wakeboarding. He plans to go to college and become a football coach.

Kaci Braswell

Kaci is the daughter of John and Charlotte Braswell. Kaci's activities include varsity cheerleading co-captain, yearbook staff, National Honor Society and executive president of the student council.

She enjoys reading, computer, being with friends, listening to music, and cheering at Friday night football games. Kaci plans to attend college and cheer and then become a sonographer.

Amanda

Margraves

Amanda is the daughter of Donnie Margraves and Terry Weiss. Amanda's activities include band, student council, National Honor Society, co-captain of the varsity cheerleaders and yearbook staff.

Amanda is a member of Whitehouse First Assembly of God where she helps in the nursery and children's church. She is also ver y involved in Thrive Student Ministries.

Amanda works at Build-a- Buddy and has competed in three pageants with the most recent being first runner-up at Miss Tyler Teen USA. She is currently preparing for Miss Texas Teen in November.

Her hobbies include shopping and being with family and friends. After high school, she plans to move to Waxahachie to attend Southwestern Assemblies of God University and cheer. She wants to be a high school teacher and cheer coach.

Thacher Riddle

Thacher is the son of Michael and Belinda Riddle.

Thacher stays busy with football, baseball, National Honor Society and student council. Snowboarding, sports and hanging out with friends are Thacher's favorite things to do.

He plans to attend a four-year college, play football and major in kinesiology.

Chance Steele

Chance is the son of Doug and Cindy Steele. Chance is a captain on the football team, FFA officer, student council member, and runs track at school. He attends Troup Church of Christ. This is his fourth year on homecoming court.

Chance enjoys hanging out with his friends, hunting, riding

his horse and working "JUST

A LITTLE"! Chance's plans are to attend college, work and possibly improve his calf roping skills.

Allie Young

Allie is the daughter of Tim and Melissa Young. Allie is very active in band, where she has been a majorette for four years. She is also a member of the National Honor Society.

She attends First United Methodist Church in Troup.

Allie's favorite activities are hanging around friends, twirling, and working at Zavalla's. She plans to attend cosmetology school in Dallas.
