Lady Tigers fall to Arp

After a promising 3-0 start, the varsity Lady Tigers have suffered a couple of district losses, including Friday's contest in Arp.

Troup lost in three games with scores of 12-25, 17-25 and 16-25. Lauren Worl led her team in kills with 6, followed by Niecy Stewart with 4 and Janna Ross, Alex Collins and Jessica Ross with 1 each.

Collins also had 5 digs, followed by Valerie York with 3, Janna Ross and Worl 2 each and Christina Cline 1.

Cline also had a team-high 14 assists, followed by Jessica Ross with 6 and Janna Ross with 1.

Stewart also had 1 block and 1 ace, and Collins added 2 aces.

The JV also lost 11-25 and 19-25.

Troup hosts Waskom Friday with games beginning at 4 p.m.
