FEMA deadline Oct. 29

It's not too late to register for disaster aid from the storms that occurred June 16 through Aug. 3. The Federal Emergency Management Agency has issued a deadline of Oct. 29 for those wanting to applay for assistance.

FEMA coordinates the federal government's role in preparing for, preventing, mitigating the effects of, responding to, and recovering from all domestic disasters, whether natural or man-made, including acts of terror.
