Louise Emmons Dickson

Services for Louise Emmons Dickson, 81, of Whitehouse were held Oct. 9 at Burks Walker Tippit Funeral Directors chapel, Tyler, with the Rev. Randal Brown officiating. Burial was in Whitehouse Cemetery.

Mrs. Dickson died Oct. 6, 2007 in Whitehouse. She was born Nov. 2, 1925 in Tyler to the late Joe T. and Linnie Emmons. She retired from the insurance department of East Texas Medical Center and also processed birth certificates at Mother Frances Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, H.L. Dickson; son, James Paul Dickson; brothers, Delton, R.S. and Dobb Emmons; and sister, Naomi Blalock.

Survivors include daughters, Kleta Hearon and Shelley Crow, both of Whitehouse; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
