Wanda Stone Jenkins

Memorial services for Wanda Jean Stone Jenkins, 71, are scheduled for 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 16, at Tyler Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Karen Jones officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Tyler Memorial Funeral Home. Wanda will be laid to rest at the feet of her greatgreat grandparents and grandparents at Union Grove Cemetery.

Mrs. Jenkins was born March 14, 1936 in Tyler to the late Bloomer Johnson and Louise McElroy Stone and passed away Oct. 6, 2007 in Tyler. She had lived in the Tyler area all of her life, was a homemaker and was a member of Cedar Street United Methodist Church. Mrs. Jenkins graduated from Tyler High School.

She is preceded in death by her husband, parents and a daughter, Vela Louise Jenkins. She is survived by sons Kenneth Earl Jenkins Jr. of Tyler, Johnny Lynn Jenkins and Timothy Gene Jenkins of Kennesaw, Ga.; 10 grandchildren; and three greatgrandchildren.
