Billy Ray "Wild Bill" Calley Sr.,

Visitation only for Billy Ray "Wild Bill" Calley Sr., 66 of Troup, were held Oct. 4. Arrangements were with Cottle Funeral Home, Troup.

Mr. Calley died Oct. 2, 2007 at his residence. He was born Aug. 12, 1941 in Delight, Ark., to the late Earl Hemby and Effie Winona Henderson Calley. He lived in Houston prior to moving to Troup in 1971 and was a truck driver.

He was preceded in death by daughter, Donetta Calley, in 1975. Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Della Marie Reeves Calley, Troup; sons, Billy Ray Calley Jr., Nacogdoches, and Willie Earl Calley, Troup; daughters, Sherry Slowikowski and Linda Calley, both of Nacogdoches, Sonya Taylor and Winona Longloria, both of Pasadena, and Jessica Josey, Bossier City, La.; mother, Winona Calley, Troup; brothers, Joe Calley, Troup, and Michael Calley, Pittsburg; sisters, Joyce Wickham, Troup, and Shirley Shields, Tomball; 18 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
