James Earl "Stu" Ausborne

Services for James Earl "Stu" Ausborne, 53, of Troup were held Oct. 6 at Freedom of Praise Church, Troup, with Elder Willie Lacy officiating. Burial was in Community Cemetery, Troup, under direction of John R. Harmon Undertaking Co., Tyler.

Mr. Ausborne died Sept. 27, 2007 at his residence. He was born Aug. 31, 1954 in Smith County and was a lifelong resident. He graduated from Troup High School and served in the Army and worked for Borden Milk Co. He was a member of Mount Rose Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by a sister. Survivors include son, Tracy Johnson, Dallas; father, James Ausborne, Tyler; mother, Lebertha Fonza, Troup; brother, Terry Ausborne, Tyler; and sisters, Sheron Rollin, Debra Brown, Janette Johnson, Alice Spigner and Cassandra Ausborne, all of Tyler, Marilyn Lacy, Patricia Frazier, Terri Fonza and Cheri Fonza, all of Troup. Nephews served as pallbearers and honorary pallbearers.
