Gaynell Glasscock

KILGORE - Services for Gaynell Glasscock, 91, of Kilgore, formerly of Troup, were held Oct. 6 at Cottle Funeral Home chapel, Troup, with the Rev. Richard Stillwell of ficiating. Burial was in Bradford Cemetery.

Ms. Glasscock died Oct. 4, 2007 in a Kilgore nursing home. She was born Aug. 31, 1916 I Blackjack community near Troup to the late Willie and Myrtle Kelly Bell. She was a retired registered nurse and a member of Trinity Baptist Church, Henderson.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Charles Hebern on Feb. 28, 1978, and the Rev. Jude Glasscock on May 3, 2004; sister, Gwen Schmidt; and brothers, Beuford Bell and Donald Bell. Survivors include daughter, Betty Gwen Boles, Kilgore; stepson, Johnny Glasscock, Henderson; two granddaughters; five greatgrandchildren; and cousins.

Family members served as pallbearers.
