Obar, Vilo exchange vows

Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Allen Vilo

Arin Cody Obar and Wesley Allen Vilo were married on Sept. 1 at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church of Whitehouse. Officiant was Bro. Bennie Portwood.

The bride is the daughter of Russ and Aris Obar of Troup. She is a graduate of Texas A&M University and Whitehouse High School.

The bridegroom is the son of Peggy LaForest of Caldwell and Ron LaForest of L'Anse, Mich. He is a graduate of L'Anse High School and is currently serving in the United States Army.

Maid of honor was Cassie Smart of Whitehouse. Best man was Kenieth LaForest of Caldwell.

The flower girls were Peighton McGee of Whitehouse, Blythe Obar of Lady's Island, S.C. and Lexi Novak of Caldwell.

The ring bearers were Niles and William of Obar of Lady's Island, S.C.

Ushers were Capt. Greg Obar of Lady's Island, S.C. and Thomas Stewart of Troup.

A reception was held at Victoria Station in Whitehouse.

The couple will reside in Fairbanks, Alaska where the groom is stationed at Fort Wainwright.
