The Jacksonville Braves came to Whitehouse last Tuesday and turned the table on Whitehouse in 7th grade football action.

The week before, the Wildcats had won all three games at Jacksonville, but the outcome was switched at Wildcat Stadium.

The Wildcats took a 8-6 lead into halftime of the "C" game, but the Braves struck on the second play from scrimmage in the second half for a 78- yard TD run, and the score was the deciding factor as the Wildcats fell 12-8.

In the "B" game, Jacksonville scored on a 65-yard run in the second quarter to defeat Whitehouse 6-0.

Standouts for the Wildcats were Alex Fort at QB, Josh Sydnor at receiver, and Kalen King at running back and safety.

The "A" team received standout performances from Dylan Cantrell, Derek Clemons, Will Weathers, and Reid Hiler on offense but could not convert several fourth down plays, which kept them out of the end zone in a 6-0 loss.

The Wildcat defense, played tough all night only giving up a 37-yard TD to Jacksonville. Standouts on the defensive side of the ball were Braden Robey, Aaron Clemons, and Brooks Robey.
