The engagement of Jessica Rannals of Whitehouse and Kevin Ogilvie of Longview is announced. The bride-elect is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Randy Rannals of Whitehouse. Jessica is a 2001 Whitehouse High School graduate. She earned a Bachelor of Music from the University of Texas at Tyler and is currently completing a double master's in music theory and flute performance from the University of North Texas in Denton. The future bridegroom is the son of Janice Ogilvie of Longview and Dr. John Hamstreet of Grand Ronde, Ore. Kevin is a graduate of Cypress High School. He earned a Bachelor of Music education from Baylor University, Master of Art in interdisciplinary studies from the University of Texas at Tyler and currently teaches music at Kilgore College. The wedding is scheduled for Dec. 8 at First United Methodist Church in Longview.
