Lady Tigers sweep Elysian Fields to end season
Eighth grade 'A' squad 6-0 on year

All four volleyball teams at Troup Middle School won their matches at Elysian Fields Monday, ending the year on a very positive note.

The victor y gave the eighth grade "A" team a perfect 6-0 record on the season. These girls also took first place in the Whitehouse Tournament on Sept. 15, defeating the Ladycat "A" team in the final game. Others competing were Jacksonville and Chapel Hill.

The eighth grade "B" team finished its year with a 4-1 record.

For the seventh grade, the "A" team's season record was 4-2, and the "B" team's 2-2.

All of the middle school volleyball players were recognized at Tuesday's home games against Elysian Fields.
