Phillips graduates from DPS school

T.J. Phillips

T.J. Phillips, son of Larry and Cindy Phillips of Whitehouse, recently graduated from the Texas Department of Public Safety Training School. The graduation took place in Austin on Sept. 28.

Phillips and a class of 75 trainees successfully completed a 28 week comprehensive training program in basic law enforcement procedures at the academy in Austin.

A 2000 graduate of Whitehouse High School, Phillips is currently employed as a state trooper with the Texarkana DPS. He and wife Aimee and daughter Katlyn are now residing in Texarkana.
