Tommy L. Mitchum

Graveside services for Tommy L. Mitchum, 75, of Whitehouse were held Oct. 27 at Whitehouse Cemetery with J.C. Tate officiating under direction of Lloyd James Funeral Home, Tyler.

Mr. Mitchum died Oct. 24, 2007 in Tyler.

He was born Sept. 10, 1932 in Whitehouse to the late James Earl and Fannie Hedricks Mitchum, and was a lifelong resident. He worked at Sledge Manufacturing for 19 years, and in the maintenance department of Whitehouse Independent School District for 20 years. He was a member of Church of Christ.

He was preceded in death by brother, Eston Mitchum, and sister, Eva Terry.

Survivors include sisters, Bertie Mae Ray, Mary Ray and Edna Dudley, all of Whitehouse; nieces and nephews.
