Troup's Jake Herrinton (right) finished ninth place in the District 19- 2A cross country meet and advanced to regionals on Saturday, Nov. 3 at Humble ISD. Herrington finished with a time of 19:36. Other cross country competitors were Matt Switzer (left) who finished in 14th place at the junior varsity level, Austin Townsend in 31st place on the varsity, and freshman Molly Johnson who won first in the girls JV division.
