The Whitehouse girls varsity basketball team attended a three-day camp this summer at Lousiana Tech University. The camp provided a "2 Minute Tournament" in which big schools and small schools competed against each other. The "2 Minute Tournament" format places each team in the situation of a tied game where there are only two minutes left to play; each game was played back to back with single elimination. Whitehouse came out on top winning first place. The girls also participated in regular games, winning six out of the eight games they played. Players attending the camp were (front row above) Haylee Aldredge, Alexa Fisher, Regan Hawkins, Kaycee Renn, (back row) Alicia Cordova, Shelly Williams, Kayla Mason and Nicola Schneider.
