Auxiliary offering poppies for Veterans Day

The American Legion Auxiliary Unit 418 is going to offer poppies in honor of Veterans Day on Friday, Nov. 9 & Saturday, Nov. 10 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Troup Banking Center, located at 101 S. Railroad in Troup.

On Saturday the Auxiliary will also be at Dollar General, located at 602 W. Duval in Troup, from 9 a.m. to noon.

The Auxiliary will also be at Aunt Lillie's Antiques & Gifts, located at 118 N. Georgia in Troup, on Saturday and Sunday from noon to 5 p. m.

The Auxiliary also invites all veterans and their spouses of the Veterans Dinner Sunday, which will be held at the American Legion Post 418, located on 302 E. Magnolia, with service beginning at 2 p.m.
