PLAYING FOR THE CHAMPIONSHIP

The Whitehouse Wildcats, youth football Sophomore Division, finished their regular season undefeated with a record of 8-0. As first place winners in the South Division they took on the fourth place Brownsboro Bears in the semifinals at Bear Stadium on Oct. 27. The Wildcats won 58-8, and advanced to the finals to face the second place Jacksonville Jaguars at Wildcat Stadium on Nov. 3. The Wildcats shut out the Jaguars, 32-0, to claim the South Division championship. With this title, the Wildcats have advanced to the Sophomore Division championship Super Bowl, to be held Saturday, Nov. 10 at Hallsville's Bobcat Stadium. With the Super Bowl game on the horizon, Wildcat parents issued an invitation to the community to come out and support the team, and thanked Coach Allen Cook and his assistant coaches and staff for the great season.
