Lady Tigers to face Rusk

After a season-opening game with Gladewater (game results to be printed next week), the Lady Tigers varsity basketball squad will travel to Rusk on Nov. 10 and host Union Grove on Nov. 19.

The Saturday Rusk game will begin at 10 a.m., with the Union Grove tipoff at 5 p.m. The junior varsity will play first.

Coming off last year's playoff berth, the Lady Tigers have a new coach, Mitchell Davis.

Returning starters include seniors Janna Ross and Alysha Barton.

The Tiger boys basketball team does not scrimmage until Nov. 16 at Rusk. The first game is Nov. 20 in Sabine, with the first home game on Nov. 23.
