Tyler Aggie Mom's Club meeting

The Tyler Aggie Mom's Club will meet Thursday, Nov. 15 at 7 p.m. at Pollard Methodist Church in Tyler. The scheduled speaker is Dr. Wayne Terrell, Associate Director for the Career Center at Texas A&M.

Whitehouse library activities

Scrapbooking with Friends will meet Friday, Nov. 16 from 6:30-1 p.m. Sign up is required. Benefit garage sale Saturday

Lil' Bit of Everything will host a benefit garage sale for Project Joy on Saturday, Nov. 17 from 8am-4pm. Anyone desiring to donate items for the sale may do so by contacting Yyuvone Childers at 903-363-2226.

WH Recycle Center temporarily closed

The Whitehouse Recycle Center has been temporarily closed. Recyclable items such as newspaper, plastic, glass, aluminum as well as electronics can be taken to the Tyler recycle center located at 418 N. Bois D'Arc. Their hours are Wednesday and Thursday 7:15 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Friday 7:15 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Saturday 8 a.m. to noon. VFW Post 1799 open daily
