Fall Dance Premiere tonight
WHS dance students, First Ladies, Dancing Dolls to showcase talents in annual extravaganza

"Dancing Dolls" (at left) are all smiles during the workshop with the First Ladies drill team as they learn routines for the Fall Dance Premiere, scheduled tonight in the Wildcat Arena.
Whitehouse High School is hosting the "Fall Dance Premiere" on Thursday, Nov. 15 at 7 p.m. in the Wildcat Arena.

This evening of dance routines will include performances by the National Champion First Ladies drill team, the First Ladies Seniors, the WHS Dance Department and the "Dancing Dolls."

The First Ladies Drill Team will perform an exciting jazz routine to a mix of "James Bond" songs.

Students enrolled in dance classes at WHS will be highlighted in the show. Cur- rently, the dance department has approximately 150 dancers from freshman to senior grade level. These young ladies will entertain with pieces from dance genres jazz, tap, hip hop, modern and lyrical.

The audience will certainly enjoy seeing the "Dancing Dolls." This group of dancers from kindergarten through eighth grade recently attended a workshop taught by the First Ladies and will perform a variety of routines choreographed just for this special group.

The First Ladies Drill Team (above) performing to "James Bond ~ '007" will be featured in the Fall Dance Premiere.
"Dolls" from kindergarten through second grade will come alive to the music of "Shrek," while "Dolls" third through fifth grade will dance to tunes from "High School Musical." The older "Dolls" will be full of energy as they perform to a song by Rihanna.

Admission is $5 with tickets sold at the door. Dancing Dolls will receive free admission and should arrive at 6:30 p.m. to get their special T-shirt.
