Dorothy LaFlure, chairman of the Campus Beautification Mini- Grant program and member of Keep Whitehouse Beautiful, presents a check for $200 to David Bell and Jessica Huddleston, Student Council co-sponsors at Whitehouse High School. The funds, provided by Keep Whitehouse Beautiful, will be used to purchase live oak and red oak trees to line the student entrance and the area adjacent to the student parking lot. Bell plans to coordinate with the WHS National Honor Society and Student Council to raise additional funds to add trees along the entrance to the high school from Main Street.
