Troup JV downs Garrison Bulldogs

Thanks to the performance of its offensive line, the Troup Tiger junior varsity football team ended its year with a 46-14 thumping of the Garrison Bulldogs.

The Tigers scored five touchdowns on the ground, with Tiger coaching staff crediting offensive linesmen D'Kevin Harris, Max Keppler, Caleb Gibson, Corderro Hudson and Patrick Alonzo with clearning a path for the Tiger ball carriers.

Sir'derek Cassell caught a 50-yard pass from quarterback Tyler Davis for the lone passing score. Other TDs were by Jacob Moody, Jeremy Ware, Casey Rinhart and Chance Tosh (two). QB Davis came through with five two-point conversion runs.

Troup's defense also had a big night, setting up one TD with a blocked punt.
