Boy Scouts plan Christmas tree lot

Want to sip some hot cider, inhale the crisp scent of freshcut Christmas trees, and be entertained by Boy Scouts in elf shoes? Well, Whitehouse is the place to be!

High adventure camping, climbing and outdoor experiences are an important part of the scouting experience, but these adventures can be beyond the budget for many families.

The young men of Troop 359 have many opportunities to EARN their way to adventure, and the young salesmen have invested in 200 beautiful, fresh cut trees that are being rushdelivered to Whitehouse just in time for the Christmas season.

Scouting families will spend the next week building a tree lot by Brown Elementary. You'll find music, Christmas cheer, lots of lights and trees, trees, trees, including Fraser Fir, Grand Fir, Douglas Fir, Scotch Pine - beautiful trees from the high country in Oregon that can be delivered by the scouts right to your front door.

Take a walk back in time - share the magic of a REAL Christmas tree with your family this year! Sales start Nov. 23 and will continue until all the trees are gone.

Scout Brannon Beaton says, "Come by our tree lot - you can't miss it with all the lights - and visit with these young scouting entrepreneurs. You'll be glad you did!"

Scoutmaster is Danny Hayden; assistant scoutmasters are Tony Hill , Charles Parker, Earl Drott.
