Wildcats advance to 2nd round with another comeback win
      All season the Whitehouse Wildcats have made a habit out of second half comebacks. Well, last Friday night at Hanby Stadium in the Wildcats' bi-district match up with Sulphur Springs, Whitehouse took comeback wins to a new level.

      The Ladycats went to 2-1 on the young season with a decisive win over Hughes Springs, 62-40. Whitehouse held a 33-16 lead at half and continued to outpace their opponents through the third quarter, led by Caroline Perrier who had 13 points, including three treys.

Cooksy scores hole in one
      Kyle Cooksy recorded a hole in one on Nov. 16 at Hilltop Country Club. Cooksy hit his ace on the 135-yard 17th hole using a gap wedge. The hole in one was witnessed by Chipper Huggins, Bob Brown, Jeff Hale and Brad Reagan.
