Elton Sessions

JACKSONVILLE - Services for Elton Sessions, 56, of Jacksonville were held Nov. 20 at Autry Funeral Home, Jacksonville, with the Revs. Ben Terry and Louis Dickey officiating.

Burial was in Myrtle Springs Cemetery.

Mr. Sessions died Nov. 17, 2007 in Tyler.

He was born Nov. 15, 1951 in Cherokee County, was a retired truck driver for Henderson Clay Products, and attended the Church of Christ.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mamie Sessions, and sister, Virginia Sue Armstrong.

Survivors include sons, Michael Sessions and Wesley Sessions, both of Kilgore; daughter, Stephanie Sessions, Edmond, Okla.; father, Pearl Elton Sessions, Ponta; brothers, Donald Guinn, Kenneth Sessions and Jimmy Sessions, all of Jacksonville, and Lee Roy Sessions, Ponta; sisters, Margaret McKinley, Henderson, Mary Martin, Whitehouse, Eva Rocha, Ponta, and Ella Faye Martin, Flint; mother of his children, Vivian Sessions, Henderson; and six grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Richard Overman, Thomas Overman, Keith Kuykendall, James Jones, Dewayne Bobbitt and Pete Terry.
