Jamie Kendrick of Troup has signed with the Magic Wings, a member of the professional basketball league in Europe. A former THS basketball star, Kendrick has been playing for the Clube de Belenenses in Portugal, but the Magic Wings, located in Pusan, South Korea, bought out his contract. The 2000 Baylor graduate still makes his home in Troup, returning there for the offseason and working out in the local gym. His mother, Wanda Hancock, and sister, Jillian, have been very supportive and a great influence on his career. The family are members of the Lighthouse of Prayer Church.
