Joyce Marie Conner

Services for Joyce Marie Conner, 71, of Tyler were held Nov. 28 at Stewart Family Funeral Home, Tyler, with the Rev. Rhett Ansley officiating.

Burial will be in Rose Lawn Cemetery.

Mrs. Conner died Nov. 26, 2007 in a Tyler hospice.

She was born Aug. 11, 1936, in Ganado to Bernard H. and Frances Sless Mamerow. She was a homemaker, a member of the Frankston Garden Club and a volunteer for the Whitehouse Library.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, one sister, and grandson, Stephen Marshall Conner, in 2001.

Survivors include her husband of 53 years, T.W. Conner, Tyler; daughters, Dana Conner, San Antonio, and Valerie Frazier, Swansea, S.C.; sons, Tom Conner, Whitehouse, and Mark Conner, Bullard; eight grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Brad Setera, Jeff Macek, Gerd Conner, Ralph Conner, John Porter and Ronnie Bean.

Honorary pallbearers were members of the Women's Bible Study of Hollycreek Village.
