Thelma Jean Ables

Private family memorial services for Thelma Jean Ables, 87, of Whitehouse will be held at a later date. Arrangements are with Hilliard Funeral Home, Van.

Mrs. Ables died Nov. 20, 2007 in Tyler.

She was born June 13, 1920 in Stillwater, Okla., to the late Thomas Jessie and Ida Mae Bolieu. She lived in Whitehouse for about 45 years, was a homemaker and a member of St. Francis Episcopal Church. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Dr. Bowden Beaty, David Boice and Johnny Ables; and s daughter, Carol.

Survivors include son, Clyde Beaty; daughters, Luan Mendel and Margaret Livings; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
