The East Texas Spirit 96 Navy Girls Team from Tyler placed first in the Rose City Shootout held on November 16-18 in Tyler, TX. The group played in the U-12 Competitive flight and bested all the teams in their bracket. After defeating Longview Elite 96, 2-1, in the semifinals, they headed to the finals where they clinched first place in a 3- 0 win against a well-skilled team, the Waco United 96.
