Gilbreath, Barker exchange vows

Mr. and Mrs. Jeffrey David Barker
Melissa Dawn Gilbreath and Jeffrey David Barker, both of Whitehouse, were united in marriage on Oct. 27 in a beautiful outdoor ceremony at the Castle on the Lake in Jacksonville. The ceremony was performed by Judge James Morris.

The bride was escorted down the isle by her father, Tom Gilbreath. She wore a beaded veil with a white a-line, double spaghetti strap, long chiffon dress, with a beaded empire waist. She carried a white and green bouquet of orchids and tiger lilies.

Melissa is the daughter of Tom and Loraine Gilbreath of Tyler. She is the granddaughter of Claudette Mckinney of Tyler, Richard Mckinney and Jo Stembridge of Gassville, Ark., and Tom and Betty Gilbreath of College Station.

The bride is a graduate of Chapel Hill High School. She attended Texas A&M University and Bel-Rea Institute of Animal Technology. She is now employed by TAGCO Construc- tion.

Jef f is the son of Laurie Barker of Whitehouse and Stephen Barker of Hill Top Lakes. He is the grandson of Carl and Shirley Schaffer of Diamondhead, Miss., and Carol Jean Barker of Athens.

The groom is a graduate of Groesbeck High School and attended the University of Mary- Hardin Baylor and McLennan Community College. He is employed in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit at ETMC.

Attending the bride was the matron of honor Amber Payne. Her bridesmaids were Meghan Gilbreath, Meredith Gilbreath and Samantha Geertz.

Attending the groom was his best man Matthew Barker. His groomsmen were Jeff Schaffer, Hank Wilson and Robert Barker. The flower girls were Triniti Barker and Rylan Clakley. The ring bearer was Payton Troyer.

A reception followed at the Castle on the Lake. After the honeymoon to Puerto Rico, the couple will reside in Whitehouse.
