Freddie Sherwin Cade CHANDLER - Services for Freddie Sherwin Cade, 75, of Chandler were held Dec. 11 at First United Methodist Church of Chandler with the Revs. Stan Copeland, Russ Munch and Lt. Col. Jim Griffin officiating. Burial was in Chandler Memorial Cemetery under direction of Chandler Memorial Funeral Home. Mr. Cade died Dec. 7, 2007 in a Tyler hospital. He was born May 6, 1932 in Chandler, to the late A.D. and Opal Ellis Cade. He was a lifelong resident of Chandler, and served in the Navy during the Korean War. He was a petroleum landman and a member of First United Methodist Church of Chandler. He was also a member of American Association of Petroleum Landmen, East Texas Association of Petroleum Landmen, a 50- year 32nd degree Mason in the Chandler Masonic Lodge, and member of Sharon Shrine Temple of Tyler. Survivors include his wife, Janice Stuart Cade, Chandler; son, Glen Stuart Cade, Chandler; daughters, Angela Hill, Whitehouse, and Fredna Chavanne, Chandler; brother, Charles Cade, Chandler; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were grandsons, Brandon Cade, Josh Cade, Austin Cade, Augustus Cade, Zachary Hill Cade and Marco Cade Chavanne. Honorary pallbearers were Chuck Cade, Billy Cade, Horace "Bo" Rowold, Wade Rowold, Bo Hargrave, Sheyenne Hargrave, Jerry Kidd, Bill McHam, Don Copeland, Joe Fitzgerald and Clint Ingram. If desired, memorials may be made to Chandler Memorial Cemetery; or First United Methodist Church of Chandler. |
