4th annual hayride rescheduled

Due to the cold weather last weekend, the 4th Annual Hayride with Santa at the Whitehouse Community Library has been rescheduled for Sat. Dec. 22 from 3-5 p.m.

WH Recycle Center temporarily closed

The Whitehouse Recycle Center has been temporarily closed. Recyclable items such as newspaper, plastic, glass, aluminum as well as electronics can be taken to the Tyler recycle center located at 418 N. Bois D'Arc. Their hours are Wednesday and Thursday 7:15 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Friday 7:15 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Saturday 8 a.m. to noon. VFW Post 1799 open daily

VFW Post 1799 on Rhone Quarter Road opens daily at 2:30 p.m. for members and guests. Each day offers a different activity such as competitive pool, karaoke and social hour. For information visit WWW.vfw1799.org or call 903-561-3501.
