Library reschedules Hayride with Santa

Did you miss the Whitehouse Community Library Hayride with Santa?

It's not too late to sign up, because, due to the extreme weather late Saturday afternoon, the library rescheduled the event. Now the hayride is scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 22, from 3 to 5 p.m.

Librar y director Sandra Knackstedt said that in the interest of the participants' health and comfort, the hayride was not held. The wind chill was just too low to be riding in an open trailer. The library has rescheduled the hayride earlier in the day hoping the weather won't be as big an issue.
