David Clint Massey

WINONA - Services for David Clint Massey, 31, of Winona were held Dec. 18 at Lloyd James Funeral Home chapel, Tyler, with David Rudd officiating. Burial was in Noonday Cemetery.

Mr. Massey died Dec. 14, 2007 in Smith County.

He was born Nov. 9, 1976 in Tyler to David Edward Massey and Kathy Marie Ashford. He served in the Army and was a route truck driver for Sysco Grocery Supply.

Survivors include his wife, Myra Massey, Winona; son, Major David Massey, Winona; daughters, Tara Lien Massey, Whitehouse, and Marly Dianne Massey, Winona; parents, Kathy and Lanny Murphy, David and Jackie Massey, all of Tyler; sister, Michelle Seat, Arlington; stepbrother, Aaron Smith, Tyler; stepsisters, Amy Etheredge, Tyler, Amanda Murphy, Oklahoma City, Okla., and Sara Hudson, Nacogdoches.

Pallbearers were Clint Nix, Shane Brown, Ralph Kingsley, Mike Haba, David Orr and Johnnie Blackman.

Honorary pallbearers were Gary Phillips, Ishmael "Bo" Phillips, Greg Rudd, Aaron Smith and Alan Etheredge.
