Battle of the Cats goes in WH's favor

The Whitehouse JV and freshman basketball teams played host last Tuesday to the Wildcats from Sulphur Springs.

The freshmen started the action that night and used a strong first half to build a 38-11 lead on their way to a 69-30 win.

Terrance Franklin led all scorers with 16 points while Trey Metoyer added 12 in the win. Quincy Aldridge had 8 points while Jake Potter had 7 on the night.

The JV squad also had little trouble with the visiting Wildcats from the north as they rode Justin Keller's 14 points in a 56-18 win.

Drew Flynn poured in 11 points while Judd Jackson added 8 in the win.
