Locals compete in Dallas race

Timothy Priest, 16, participated in the Dallas Whiterock Half Marathon on Sunday Dec. 9, benefiting Scottish Rites Hospital.

Priest finished in the top four percent of the 5,172 runners with a time of 1:36:33, 7:22 pace per mile.

Others from Whitehouse who participated in the half marathon: Matthew Greene, 33, 1:40:40, 7:41 ppm; Julie Christensen, 28, 2:00:51, 9:13 ppm; Sherri Priest, 45, 2:07:13, 9:43 ppm; Carrie Kummerfield, 20, 2:07:55, 9:46 ppm; Sherr y Conser, 40, 2:20:17, 10:42 ppm.

The 13.2-mile race began and finished at the American Airlines Center in Dallas.

Allen Hossley from Whitehouse participated in the full 26.2 mile marathon with a time of 4:24:07, 10:05 ppm.
