Residents relocate after Westwood closes in Troup
      Residents of Westwood Convalescent Home in Troup have all been relocated, and the facility is expected to officially close in mid-January, if not before, according to Melody Chatelle, a spokesperson for Touchstone Communities, owner of the nursing home.

Whitehouse youth support campaign to raise funds for mosquito nets
      Youth from Pollard UMC raised about $2,500 from sponsors with their "Take it to the Net" relay basketball dribble on Nov. 11. They dribbled the 3.5 miles from their church to Marvin UMC in Tyler wearing a special jersey and passing about every 200 yards.
