Gateway offering parenting classes

Equipping and teaching children the foundations necessary to be ready for life is one of the most challenging responsibilities for parents today. Need some help in your family?

Gateway Baptist Church is offering classes in concepts and skills for parents and their families. For parents with teenage and preteen children there is "Living with your Teenager." This will be a video series with a workbook led by Rich Tuz, minister of youth at Gateway.

For parents of younger children there is "Raising Kids That Turn Out Right" also a video series with a workbook lead by Mike and Paula Kitchens.

The only cost will be that of the workbooks which are approximately $10. These series will be on Sunday nights, 6-7 p.m., beginning Jan. 6, 2008 and continuing through March of 2008. Classes will be held at the church. All families in the community are welcome to participate. There are also other classes for youth and children if needed.

Everyone is invited to join them to learn to do a better job teaching, guiding and modeling for children to help them grow up with a stronger foundation for life.

Gateway Baptist Church is located on Hwy. 110 South at Leisure Lane. For more information call 903-839-7171.
