Troup finishes 2nd in 19-2A UIL meet

Troup ISD recently hosted the 19-2A Academic UIL meet. Students from Tatum, Arp, Troup, Timpson and West Rusk competed in 21 different academic competitions. Tatum was the winner of the academic meet. Troup placed second in the overall contest.

"We are very pleased with our students' performance and the hard work of the teachers,' said Melanie Johnson, elementary dean of students. "Our students and teachers have been preparing for this meet for over three months. The hard work paid off and we are very proud to announce the following results."
