V-ball camp July 28-Aug. 1
      The Whitehouse Volleyball Camp will be held at Whitehouse High School the week of July 28 through Aug. 1. The camp is open to all area schools from incoming sixth through incoming ninth graders. Camp times will be 8:30- 11:30 a.m. Monday through Friday with on-site registration from 7:30 until 8:30 on July 28 or you may pre-register by mail.

     The Whitehouse Warriors won their regular season and district championship and will now head to the state tournament in Clifton July 28. The team is 14-0 and outscored their opponents 116-30 in four District 11 Texas TeenAge Baseball Association T-Ball Tournament games. WH season f-ball tickets to go on sale
      Whitehouse High School Football season tickets will go on sale in the Athletic Office Aug. 4-22. Thursday, July 24, is the last day for previous season ticket holders to make exclusive advance purchases. The packet contains tickets to six home games. The season tickets can be purchased for $30.

      The sophomore division district champion Whitehouse Wildcats are headed for their first trip to the Little League state tournament. These 13-14 year olds begin state tournament play on Monday in Redwater.

Whitehouse runner places in first full marathon try
      Timothy Priest, 16, ran in his first full marathon on July 6 in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. He finished the 26.2-mile race in just under four hours with a chip time of 3:56:56. Son of Gar y and Sherri Priest of Whitehouse, Timothy placed second in the under-19 age division.
