Yoga class meets the second and fourth Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. in the youth wing of First Baptist Church of Whitehouse. There is no fee for the class. Bring your own yoga mat, towel and bottle of water. Class is 7-8 p.m. and there is no child care available at this time.
Dulcimer lessons offered
The Jacksonville Jammers will meet Saturday, July 26, 5:30- 8 p.m. at the Senior Citizens Center at 302 S. Bolton St. in Jacksonville. They offer free beginning and intermediate mountain dulcimer lessons. All acoustic instruments are welcome.
TWCO meets
The Troup Women's Civic Organization will meet Monday, July 28 at 6:30 p.m. at the Troup library.

WH Recycle Center
Regular hours of operation for the Whitehouse Recycle Center are on Wednesdays from 7-10 a.m. and 3:30-5 p.m. as well as the first and third Saturday 8 a.m. to noon. Bring your recyclable paper, newspaper, cardboard, plastic, aluminum cans and tin cans. The Recycle Center is located on Railroad Ave.
Women's health seminar offered
"Finding Balance" is a seminar on women's health issues begin offered free of charge on Tuesday evenings at 6 p.m. at Health Plus, 2010 Sybil Ln., Tyler. Facilitator is Brenda Flowers RN.
VFW Post 1799 open daily

PoP movie nightPrince of Peace Catholic Church continues to offer free movie nights. This week's movie is Saint John Bosco: Mission to Love, the moving, amazing portrayal of this kindhearted, loving apostle of youth. Ignatius Books and DVDs will be available for purchase. Movies are free. Pizza, soft drinks and popcorn are available for purchase or bring your own.
Bascom UMC hosts breakfast
The Bascom United Methodist Church on FM 848 hosts breakfast the last Saturday of the month from 8:30 -10 a.m. A full breakfast meal is served and donations are accepted.

Wildcats season ticketsWhitehouse High School football season tickets will go on sale in the Athletic Office Aug. 4-22. The packet contains tickets to six home games. The season tickets can be purchase for $30. If you have any questions, call 839-5538 or see www.whitehouseisd.org.
