      Editor, I watched my husband take his last breath in May. I would have never imagined I'd be watching the lovely flowers we planted together over the years and the lawn we tended together "fry" in the summer sun BECAUSE our supposed city fathers have made such BAD decisions on the behalf of the Whitehouse Citizens.

State FFA convention offers awards, information
      The Troup FFA officer team recently attended the 80th annual State FFA Convention in Lubbock. "The Troup FFA officers were able to attend awesome workshops, listen to motivating speakers, and witness remarkable talent as their fellow members walked across the stage to be recognized for their achievements," said Renee Williams, FFA sponsor.
