Neal, Bostic wed aboard cruise ship

Mr. and Mrs. Warren Keith Bostic Mr. and Mrs. Warren Keith Bostic Tamara Nicole Neal and Warren Keith Bostic were united in marriage at 1 p.m. on Sunday, July 6, 2008 in a double-ring ceremony aboard the Carnival Conquest cruise ship in Galveston Harbor. A reception followed onboard in Vincent's Jazz Lounge.

The bride is the daughter of Steve and Kay Neal of Fairfield. She is the granddaughter of Gene and Mary Helen Neal, also of Fairfield, and the late Louis and Jesse Buth.

Tamara is a 2001 graduate of Upper Room Christian Academy in Buffalo and a 2005 graduate of Azusa Pacific University in Azusa, Calif. This fall Tamara begins employment by Fairfield ISD as the junior high school Spanish teacher.

The groom is the son of Gary Bostic and Sheryl Acker of Whitehouse and Frances Bragg of Tyler. Keith is the grandson of Warren Doyle Bostic, the late Betty Bostic of Shreveport, La., and James and Lady Mae Talley of Homer, La., and Leo and Ruby Bailey of Minden, La.

Keith is a 1993 graduate of John Tyler High School, a 1999 graduate of Tyler Junior College, and a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. Keith is employed by MI Swaco as a drilling fluids engineer.

After her father escorted her down the aisle, the bride was presented in marriage by her parents. Her gown was ivory satin, split front, A-line, and accented with a Victorian lilac sash, beaded lace, and lace-up back. She carried a bouquet of white roses and purple orchids.

Matron of honor was the bride's sister, Elizabeth Hawkes Fuellbier of Copperas Cove. Bridesmaids were friends of the bride, Elizabeth Reeder Madrigral of Arlington and Kristyn Mannoia of California. House party members were Kyana Giliani and Angela Huddleston, both of California.

Best man was the groom's brother, Josh Bostic of Whitehouse. Junior best man was the groom's son, Brett Bostic of Tacoma, Wash. Groomsmen were cousin of the groom, Wes Ebey of Dallas, and friend of the groom, Jon Perdue of Tyler.

The first reading came from Paul's Letter to the Corinthians, followed by the exchange of vows and rings. Together Tamara and Keith lit the unity candle. The ceremony ended with a blessing, the presentation of the new couple, and a recessional.

The onboard reception featured a live jazz band, hot and cold hors d'oeuvres, champagne toasts, and an ice sculpture of two doves.

Following their honeymoon cruise to Jamaica, Grand Cayman, and Cozumel, Mexico, the bride's parents hosted a reception at Caney Creek Lodge in Teague on July 19. Guests enjoyed a dinner of unique fondues, a three-tiered wedding cake, and an Italian cream groom's cake.

The couple will reside in Fairfield.
