ATHLETIC DUO

Timothy Priest and Adam Lindenmuth participated in their first duathlon in Dallas, July 20, 2008. The Blazing Saddles Duathlon race, sponsored by Thurston Racing, was held at 7:30 Sunday morning at White Rock Lake. The race consisted of a 2 mile run, a 9.4 mile bike around the lake and then 2 more miles running with no stopping in between, just as fast as possible transition on and off the bike. Timothy placed first in the 16-19 age division with a time of 54:20 and 7th overall. Adam was only 2 seconds back with a time of 54:22 finishing 2nd in the age group and 8th place overall. The first place finisher from Garland finished with a time of 49:46.
