Council OKs 25-year proposal; water bills to increase by $9.50 month

On a 3-2 vote Tuesday, the Whitehouse City Council approved a 25-year water contract with the City of Tyler. Members Mike Jeter, Charles Parker and Tony Hill voted yes, while Gene Champion and Dale Moran voted no.
